Biography:
Dmitry Moor has studied at the studio of Kelin (1910).
He has worked for the magazine "Budilnik" (Alarm Clock).
The artist was one of the creators of "ROSTA Windows".
Moor has produced illustrations for newspapers "Izvestiya" (from 1919), "Pravda" (from 1920), and magazines "Krasnoarmeyets" ("Red Army Soldier", from 1922), "Krokodil" (satirical journal Crocodile).
The artist served as art director of the magazines "Bezbozhnik" (Atheist) and "Bezbozhnik u Stanka" ("Atheist at the Workbench", 1923-1928).
He designed decoration for political festivals in Moscow (1918).
From 1918, Moor has participated in exhibitions including shows in Paris (1925), Berlin (1927) and Danzig (1930, now Gdansk, Poland).
He was a member of the group "October " (1928).
Moor has taught at VKhUTEMAS/VKhUTEIN (High State Arts and Technical Workshops High State Art Technical Institute), in Moscow (1922-1930).
