Biography:

Serghey Senkin has studied in the MUZhVZ (1914-1915); then in the GSKhM under Malevich (1918-1920).

In 1920 the artist together with G.Kliutzis has opened his own independent workshop in the VKhUTEMAS.

Senkin has participated in exhibitions from 1921, including with the UNOVIS group in Moscow (1921, 1922).

In 1923 the artist together with G.Kliutzis has opened "The Revolution Workshop" in the VKhUTEMAS.

From 1923 Senkin has collaborated with the journal "LEF".

He has worked with L.Lissitzki on photomontage for the International journalism exhibition in Koln. Afterwards he continues to work in this field, as well as graphic art and design, working closely with G.Kliutzis.
