Biography:

Boris Grigoriev has studied at the Stroganov Institute, Moscow (1903-1907) under Shcherbinovsky, and at the Academy of Arts (1907-1912) under Kardovsky and Kiseliov.

From 1909 the young artist participated in exhibitions including Fellowship of Independents and World of Art.

He has lived in Paris in the years 1912-1914.

From 1913 he was a member of the World of Art group.

Grigoriev has produced the series "Soving/Broadcasting" (1917). Worked for the journals "Satiricon" and "Novy Satiricon" (New Satiricon).

He has moved to Paris in 1919, then from 1920 lived and worked in Germany, and from 1922 - in France, from 1923 - in USA. In 1926 the artist settled in Kagne-sur-Mere (South France).

In 1918 and in 1936 he traveled through Latin America (Chile, Brazil, Ecuador, Uruguay, Argentina, Peru, Cuba).
