Biography:

Bogayevsky was a pupil of I.Aivazovsky and A.Fessler in Feodosia, and later has studied at the High Art School near the Academy of Arts, St. Petersburg (1891-1897), under A.Kuindzhi.

His work was shown at  exhibitions, including World of Art, since 1897.

The artist was a member and a participant in the exhibitions of NOKh (New Society of Artists), TYuRKh (Society of the South-Russian Artists), World of Art, SRKh (Union of Russian Artists), Zhar-Tzvet (Hot-Color), Union of Soviet Artists.

In 1933 he was awarded the title of Honored Art Worker.
