I believe these all photos are by Rodchenko. The first I recognize as his with it's image of Mayakovsky dominating the photomontage. Can anyone fill in the details about the others.
LEF, the letters in the right eye glass, stand for ‘Left Front of the Arts’ which was an organization of Soviet Constructivists. It was also the name of their journal for which this image was created. It was dedicated to maintaining the avant garde against Socialist Realism. It was especially critical of and published scathing attacks on capitalist of the period; fearing a capitalist restoration.

the first image is a bookcover for Mayakovsky's 'Talking with the Taxman about Poetry' from 1926. The 'LEF'-guy is Osip Brik, a montage by Rodchenko from 1924. The last pic is a photo of Rodchenko, but taken by Gregory Petrusov in 1933/34. This image was used by Penguin Books for the cover of their edition of Yevgeny Zamyatin's 'We'.
