Exhibition of works Strzeminski, the most important Polish avant-garde artist, "authors of absolute" no longer opens on January 8 in the Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola.

Stalowa museum in collaboration with the NBP Regional Branch Rzeszów will present the new coin, along with an exhibition of paintings and drawings Strzemiński. Do not miss the exhibition of work from the series "Faces" visible on that coin.

At the same time, this exhibition at the Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola, the first show of the series' creators of the absolute ", showing contemporary classics, and artists absolute. The exhibition is dedicated to the artist, who has made ​​fundamental contributions to the history of the world and in history of Polish avant-garde art. We present the paintings and drawings stored in the Museum of Art in Lodz, where the largest collection of works Strzeminski, the National Museum in Warsaw and the Museum Lubusz in Zielona Gora.

This will be a real treat for connoisseurs of avant-garde art. Selected works Strzemiński show successive stages of this great quest, a radical experimenter, from the composition afterimages. The exhibition is complemented by author interpretations of socialist realism.

Wladyslaw Strzeminski (1893-1952), a controversial artist, was also known from a very interesting vibrant sculptor Catherine Kobro. In the early work he met with representatives of the Russian avant-garde and the idea of ​​constructivism, which had a big influence on his creative thinking. He created the theory of unison (the principle of full homogeneity of the image he built on the Rights of the right, acting as a visual unity devoid of all contrasts). Strzeminski also dealt with architectural design, theory and art criticism. He was one of the initiators of the formation of the Cubists, Constructivists, "block" and then "Preaesens" and the famous group "ar" He participated in all national and international constructivist avant-garde Polish demonstrations.
